President Kibaki consoles the people of Japan

President Mwai Kibaki has sent a message of sympathies and condolence to the Government and people of Japan following today's devastating Tsunami that claimed the lives of several people.

In his message, President Kibaki noted that the earthquake measuring 8.9 on the Ritcher scale had caused immense destruction in Japan.

"On behalf of the Government and the people of Kenya, and on my own behalf, I send this message of condolence and encouragement to the government and people of Japan and assure them that Kenyans are with them during this difficult time," President Kibaki said.

The Head of State also wished those injured during the Tsunami that resulted from the devastating earthquake who are admitted in hospital quick recovery.

President Kibaki prayed to God to grant the bereaved families the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.

オバマ大統領、この間地震によって大きな被害を受けたばかりのニュージーランドの首相、日頃仲良くない中国やロシアからも、温かい声が日本政府に寄せられてます

日本政府も原発や行方不明者の対応に懸命の様子です

今日は海に漂流していた人が
海上自衛隊に救助されました
悲しみの中にも喜びもありました
